I have been chomping at the bit to share this venue and their WHO NEW?! Art Crawl event with you. Please meet Jennifer Klementti Photography, a fine art portrait, wedding and lifestyle photographer.
Jennifer started her business in 2003 and since has been a huge supporter of downtown Barrie. She supports local efforts to revitalize local businesses as well as charitable organizations. Jennifer is highly sought after and successful in her professional practice (I miss her amazing presence during the summer wedding season). If you’ve ever met Jen, you would have a pretty good guess as to why she’s so busy, aside from her talent and ability to capture the essence of the moment, she’s also one of those people that you genuinely just feel good being around. When Jennifer told me what she was planning for the art crawl I was elated. She’s really taken the event and run with it and I KNOW people are going to have a lot of fun at her gorgeous studio this Saturday.
After you’ve stopped in for a grilled cheese at The Grilled Cheese Social Eatery, make your way down to Maple Street. Jennifer will be providing a “photo booth” experience for everyone who drops in. She has a great selection of fun props for everyone to play with and will be posting the photos throughout the event on the Jennifer Klementti Photography Facebook Page for everyone to download and share. Stop by for a visit and get your photo taken while listening to some groovy beats provided by Casey George, Sunday Crush music aficionado. I even heard rumors of a cocktails catered by The Side Door/Michael & Marions. Thanks Kent Smith!!

Artist’s Statement: “Photography is very experiential, a way of life, it’s about seeing the subtleties of our existence. As a photographer, I often submerge myself into my surroundings, keeping an open mind and being aware of the spontaneity and interaction of life around me. Photography is art, intuition and poetic expression. Learning French & Spanish opened my eyes to a culturally rich and diverse world of art, language, history and culture. It was through living abroad that I also became enamoured with the camera as a tool of expression. The language of photography is not confined to words and sentences. It’s a language that crosses borders, and communicates directly with the soul.” – Jennifer
